Tuesday Tipple

OK, so we're starting to edge towards the silly season and I thought, let's start with the Christmas Cocktails! Usually by now I have started to flavour my vodka with Christmas tea - try it, you will find the vodka gets that Christmas pudding kind of taste and it's actually quite nice!

However, this one will get your glow on....

Candy Cane Martini

  • 1 1/2 ounces vanilla vodka
  • 1/2 ounce peppermint schnapps
  • 1 ounce club soda
  • crushed candy canes for garnish
Rim a martini glass with crushed candy canes. Mix vodka, schnapps, and club soda with ice in a cocktail shaker; strain into prepared glass. Too many of these might turn you into the Christmas Ho Ho Ho so take care, you know what they say about Bad Girls....

If you can come up with a drink that uses an entire chocolate log, I'm in.

Hi Steve, I'll get to work on that then - I love a challenge!

Sweet drinks, sweet music, and sweet company... what more could a person want on a blog ???

Oh, this is great! Wintry cocktails! Will there be a grog or hot toddy? This candy cane cocktail sounds--and has to look--so festive!

Owen- well, when you put it like that there isn't much else left is there?? :-)

Margaret- funny you should say wintry! We're heading into summer here and Hot Toddy's won't be on the list at all even tho'they are nice!! :-)

Robert- I'm having a pretty good Tuesday so far, thanks. Glad to help you learn new things (eve if they are on the wayward side!)

Sorry I'm late...had trouble fitting back into my Mrs. Claus outfit this year, then I snagged my stiletto heel on a patch of ice and went down all arms a-bimbo. Tell me Saj, just what do they say about Bad Girls? I wouldn't know.

Oh, my God, Sag, I totally forgot! Good thing I didn't have my suitcase packed and was on my way!
So, ice it is! ♥ ♥

haha! i thought of wintry weather too! it's because you set such a cozy scene.

you have me wondering if i aspire to be a bad girl. i am working on being a babe, which is ridiculous at my age, but also naughty fun. so i could be bad too, right?

happy holiday season sag

StickUp- It kinda sticks to your mouth too...

Selina - I have visited your place and can't thank you enough!!

Lou-Look in the dictionary, under Bad Girl you should find my photo!!

Margaret-I have to say how nice it is to see you back here, even without your suitcase! :-)

kj- I fully intend to grow old disgracefully, if possible. I figure getting older is inevitable but growing up is optional!
