This is my favourite tea for the ordinary 'gumboot' tea time.....
In our 'old' house, I had a cupboard specially for my teas - I had all sorts from Moroccan Mint to Chinese Gunpowder to Russian Caravan, I have moved the cupboard to our rental place (no demolition man is gonna get their meat-pie mitts on my tea cupboard) and all I need now is to find the right cup to enjoy my teas in.
Mind you, my dear friend Pixie sent me a new mug - red and white stripes to slurp from, all I have to do now is FIND IT!

Tea! You know tea is my real weakness, but it's got to be well brewed with a good tannin tang. The modern tea connoiseurs would have a fit.
Ah yes, I recall vividly the first time I tried irish tea...I spluttered and coughed, but now if it doesn't have a 'knock' to it, I can't stand it!
Tea. A morning is not complete without one and a day cannot be contemplated.
I'm green (tea) with envy. Gunpowder: stuff to blow your boots off.
I loves them all, mint, gunpowder, Russian Caravan, but I haven't had the pleasure of sampling a New Zealand breakfast in any sense of the word as yet. I've been a tea granny since before I started grade school. But surely you wouldn't mind if I put a wee splash of gin in my Lady Early Grey? For purely medicinal purposes, you understand.
Steve - very true. Here, have a try...
Marginalia - Any time you're down this way, pop in and I'll make you a cup!
Louciao- gin in one's tea? Splutter...
Over the year, I spend more money on tea than for clothes.
