Happy New year (belatedly)

What an ending we had to our year, and a similar start to the new one...we were seriously starting to think things might have calmed down beneath our feet but no so it seems not. Forget about keeping calm and carrying on....I am almost at the point of Shutting up and Dealing with it.

No progress yet on our rebuild but we're quietly and cautiously optimistic that come next month things will start to happen - most of NZ shuts down in January for holidays anyway. In fact, I will be on holiday myself from the end of this week until 7 February. Yahoo!!!

During my break I hope to get out and find some wonderful sights to photograph, do cooking and spend quality time with the Scowly and the Whovian (and The Stud of course). We have already set aside a day or two for watching Dr Who re-runs - can't wait, and I have been instructed to make a Dalek cake for a certain birthday in August.

AND we will be heading to Wellington for a day or two (to annoy dear Pixie) and to visit the museum and view the fabulous Wedding Dress exhibition.
Watch this space!

And a very happy New Year to You dear sibling, glad to see that whatever shakes and shooks and shocks and shacks and shucks the gods of the faulty lines might throw at you, you are still smiling... greetings to all of you and may your dreams be uninterrupted by further uninvited trembling...

have a wonderful escape.
We had a Dr Who marathon over the Xmas weekend and for the first time ever, actually got to see the Christmas Day Dr Who on Christmas Day (instead of like 1 1/2 years later) I am a little sad that Amy Pond is being written out, and a little confused as to how that will work.

Anyhoo... hope 2012 is kind to you.

Happy New Year and happy holidays to you and yours! The Saj actually shutting up? Perish the thought! Exciting to have a new house in the works, time spent with loved ones doing fun stuff, to say nothing of a wedding dress exhibit on the horizon! Good times, Saj. Enjoy!

Robert - thanks! I'm glad to have jogged yourmemory - thats about the limit of my exercise. :-)

Owen - Ah well, what else can we do eh? It doesn't matter how many times you get knocked over, the important bit is the number of times you get up again.

Steve - I am a Sag - optimistic!

Violet - OOH, I love the Christmas episodes. Haven't got up to the departure of Ms Pond yet here tho'.

Louciao - haha, you know me too well I fear! Yes, this year has got to be better. And if it isn't well...can't change that either. I guess every situaton can be good bad or indifferent depending on what you can do about it. :-)
