Too much information

I went to visit a worksite the other week. I do this quite a lot in my job but this visit was slightly different in that I only went as far as the office.
This meeting was with the site health and safety team. (No, don't switch away just yet....it does get exciting, I promise!!)

Anyway, we all filed in and did the introduction things. The company HR manager was there too and happily introduced herself and the "others". She is rather on the cuddly side, British with proper clipped accent and everything.

We were there to discuss migrant workers and how best to accommodate their health and safety needs while they were learning better English (or Kiwi).

I mentioned that at a recent site I had visited there were some Egyptian workers who had just started.

Aforementioned HR Manager leaned forward and excitedly announced that she "had a Brazilian".

None of us knew where to look and the young Union rep beside me (in HIS early 20s) nearly exploded at the mental image no doubt we all had!

from a health and safety perspective, this could be rather intriguing... or not.

haha so funny. I am sure an inspection should have taken place to check she had a true Brazilian.

Any H&S person will recommend depilation of sensitive areas as it is healthier and more hygienic. I look forward to reading the guidance literature (illustrated)...

lol! ...I think I would have had to say, "Cool! One more visit to the spa and you could be a stripper!"

...Tho, that might not have gone over as quite as much as it seems when I run it through my head.

Violet - Indeed, she's a lovely woman but really some things you would probably just take her word for!

RB - you offering? Not me, I'm not that brave!!

Steve - aw gawd, imagine it!

Matty - haha, I can't being to tell you what went thru my head at that moment. I suspect the looks on our faces would have been quite comic.

Owen - well, I did wonder if she was having a larf at our expense but she chattered on as if she had commented on the weather so I suspect she had no readl idea of what she had said.

Note Bene - hello there, thanks for calling in! Nuts? Hm, quite possibly...but I wasn't about to check that out either!!

Villager - I know, it is so cold here that I doubt they enjoyed their experience much. The Egyptians didn't stay long, as for the Brazilians...everywhere apparently!

Oh yes, wanted to mention too, your cat in the photo seems to be suffering from the opposite of "Blockhead Syndrom", but rather something like "Beachball Distortion" where the cat's head becomes unusually round. I think there may be a bit of an epidemic going around because I saw another cat suffering from the same thing in a May 31st post at this blog...

I hope he can be cured !
Best wishes !

Oh, just saw this second over at Steve's where you mentioned a dis-used playhouse ? Sounds wonderful, the sproglettes are getting rather large and will soon be out catching their own flies for supper... and me and la Grenouille are very well behaved and don't take up much space... :-D
