Blue sky and blue water, old blue building, and old Blue Hotel.... many ways to be blue and Barnesy does it best (with this song co-written by our very own Kiwi Classic Neil Finn)
The Ozone looks like it's seen better days. Hopefully it will be refurbished because it's such a cool looking building. Would be a fine place for a Tipple (or 2)!
A perfect candidate for our roster of makeovers! We shall have a chain of pleasure palaces all over southern NZ. This blue beauty is already perfectly named: The Ozone Ho. Our advertising slogan for our hotel chain could be "if the building is rocking, you know it's after-shocking!" Or, "a stay with us will really move you."

Looks like a fixer upper there that could be a good one to add to our list of project properties ? Just need some funding to come through...
:-)
Amazing how blue makes me feel anything but.
I always thought "Crowded House" was such an incongruous name for a group from NZ. "Split Endz" made me think of fluffy sheep and woollens.
Why should such a docile country ( except when the earth shakes) give rise to rock hard groups like The Datsuns and The Veils?
I'm gonna have me some o' that there blue hotel!
entering ones soul.

Does The Esplanade still stand?
Love the Barnsey, though I only recently really appreciate him.
