Tuesday Tipple

I am starting to think we need more Tuesday's in the week, is that bad?
Yes, I know I have posted this one before, but I like it so here it is again!

Between the sheets

3/4 ounce Cognac
3/4 ounce light rum
3/4 ounce Cointreau
1 dash lemon juice

Shake all ingredients together, with ice, shake and strain into cocktail glass.

In my previous post I neglected this clip, so here it is now for your enjoyment and edification! Apologies for those who don't like lyrics, this is the best I could find.

Between the sheets? That is where I wish to remain this morning but, alas, my creditors will not permit it...

Steve- I sympathise, I have to say that even tho' this is my third week back at work I'm not that enthused yet either...maybe about August I'll have built up some enthusiasm but by then it will be time to start winding down to Xmas!

I'm with Steve! Not between the sheets you understand though....no, but yes, I too would like to stay in bed for a couple more weeks til Spring finally arrives.
Cheers !

Well, there has to be some compensation for living in a relationship! I think Abel got it right... and today's tipple is perfect for our ten-degree freezing weather! (but I'm not sure how deep you are into summer yet!)
Love, me ♥

Selina - for a minute there I thought we were going to have some explaining to do!! (Not that Steve would mind, I'm sure...)

Margaret-I think our summer is on the skids, have been having some cracker days but the days are closing in and mornings getting a bit of dew fall on the grass. And yes, I think Abel has a point (ahem).

'i'm not in love but the sex is good'?

in this case, i think one out of two can work :)

and about staying between the sheets; sag, i hate getting up for work. i whine about it. but....once i'm in my car and heading out i like it and i don't whine. that said, last summer i had a three week vacation--three weeks! it was fantastic.

ps your comment on my glad. makes me feel good that my too-open heart may have been a guidepost for you. ♥

You forgot to warn us not to stand next to an open flame during or immediately after imbibing this concoction! Seems an ideal cocktail for consuming in my igloo. Warms the cockles. Thoughtful of you to add that dash of vitamin C for those of us still in the throes of winter. I love your health drinks!

kj- with us starting to head down the autumn path shortly it's getting harder to get outta bed!

Louciao- I love being helpful to my big sis! (Watch out for that flame or is it our Toady brother gallumphing along with a lantern??)

Here I am, with lantern in hand ! Just got out of a cave, where I needed a good lantern...

Sounds like there's quite a few folks around here who would like to be staying in bed, between the sheets, and there's a whole lot of shaking going on there too... I can see I'm going to have to do more than galumph, am gonna have to sprint to keep up with this racy company !!!
