Monday Music

Another shaky weekend...a 4.8 and several others thereafter with a 5.5 while we were watching the All Blacks play Argentina in the Rugby World Cup. I find it hard to believe how much we are still shaking after over a year! People ask if we are used to it all...that's a yes and a no. Yes because we know what they are, and no because they jump out at you when you least expect it.

Oh, I haven't mentioned that New Zealand is hosting the World Cup rugby tournament? Silly me, where are my manners, I put them down somewhere.....

Oh that's right, I have been distracted...these guys were part of the build up for the World Cup, apparently they had a blind referee (nothing unusual there eh?)

For the record, at the semi finals next weekend the All Blacks will play Australia and France plays Wales. Obviously our household wants the ABs to win. We do.

Anybody you know in that photo ???

Funny, I was just watching a video on youtube of two kangaroos boxing each other... it looked sort of like this.

And my G-O-S-H... when is the shaking going to stop ?

We had my sister in law and her husband here for a few days last week, they just got back to France after four years in Tahiti. They enjoyed staying in our little guest room. If you want to follow on their path from the South Pacific to here, just give a shout... But tell the Stud he has to put on some clothes before he comes... err... that didn't sound right, I meant, before he comes to visit... (sorry !) :-)

Is that a spot-the-ball competition photo?

Amazing that you're still getting the shakes. Can't you guys settle down?

The English were a disgrace on and off the pitch.

We'd have done better if we'd played butt naked. Which is how I suspect most of the players spent their down time by how shagged out they looked on the pitch.

Owen - no, I don't know anyone in that photo (as yet anyway!!) and as it was a cold day it's hard to tell if there was anyone I SHOULD know...as for the shaking, we're a tad sick of it too.

Steve - haha, I think the scrum could have been entertaining "Crouch...HOLD...Engage..."

Marginalia - Yes, there did seem to be a few distractions for the English team. We actually were cheering for the Scots and then the French, much to my UK mates disgust...

Reminds me of that old American song, "Take Me Out to the Balls Game."

I have never been interested in Rugby really, but spent last weekend watching the games with my son, and we are planning to watch again. Of course we want the AB's to win!!
