Tuesday Tipple

I have no idea why, but I am in the mood for Vodka!

WICKED WITCH OF THE WEST
2oz Absolut Mandarin Vodka
1oz Triple Sec
1oz Lime juice (yes, use fresh - it's soo much nicer!)
1 splash orange juice
1 splash cranberry juice
Ice

Put ingredients in a shaker and shake (who would have guessed?) and then strain into a chilled glass and garnish with an orange slice if you can be bothered.

Then, toddle out onto the deck and slump into your hammock and sip as you listen to these guys....

Never question being in the mood for vodka. It wastes precious drinking time.

Reading your "Tuesday Tipple" is the closest I get to alcohol these days.

I have fond memories of vodka and it of me, I'm sure.

Steve - I agree!

Marginalia - In that case, I'm sorry to have been so remiss! Things have been conspiring against me recently but I think I'm back off the wagon again! :-)

Ah, this has responded to my immediate needs, as I was feeling rather thirsty, and deeper level interests... I've always been a fan of the Oz books, all thirty of them, give or take a few... now, I have a drink to go mix !

That sounds delicious. Now all I have to do is dig out a Gn'R CD and hey, it's a party!

Well, I'm glad I'm in the east at the moment or I might have taken this personally. I'm sorry I'm so late getting here for the tipple but I had to repair a smashed window when I got home from my little trip. Oddly enough, a trail of empty wine bottles and tea leaves led from my place to your doorstep. But all is forgiven and definitely forgotten if there's any drink left in that shaker...
