Crazy times

It's been a funny few weeks. More shakes, mostly mid 4s lately but even a big one of 5.2 on Friday afternoon just to remind us who is in charge! It was even more scary because we were in our old brick work building at the time and our work building has had an engineering report and it is not good.

The building has been classed as a serious earthquake risk and we have to 'vacate urgently' - so! Back to working from home while we try and find sufficient office space, safe office space, affordable office space!

To be honest, you can get a bit sick of cleaning stuff up....moral of this story I think is that you should secure your CDs especially if you have just spent some weeks putting them back into alphabetical order!

You need to get your CD collection onto an iPod... that way you can shuffle it without making a mess...! ;-)

Steve - good idea, not sure why I haven't thought of that already!!

Isn't Steve a wit :-) That 5.2 was a gentle roller here, but it woke me from my afternoon nap! I'm surprised you were still in your unsafe building. In Rangiora, the merest whiff of doubt has owners and Council alike closing quite innocuous looking buildings down abruptly.

Sending you patience and strength and only the very best wishes for a good new week ahead.

My mum has learnt and most of her precious stuff is on the floor for save keeping and she didn't even feel the 5.2 on Friday she was out and about.

When will it stop ???

If any consolation, we have been planning a trip to Italy for some time now, to Florence for starters, where they felt the 5.2 rattle a few days ago. I don't want to cancel the trip though, but hoping mother nature won't cancel it for us...

Bon courage !

Blimey. You live on uncertain ground don't you. You can't have anything breakable left to break.

Sending you all the patience and strength you need.
