Just had a fab weekend, my dearest friend PIxie came down and made a dress for my Scowly Teen and was due to leave today. Pixie and I sloped off to the airport only to turn round and come home again - that Pixie no fly today!

Hi Robert - I love it when it snows, but I have to say that the following days with the icy conditions are not a favourite! It has been fun making snowmen and having snowball fights tho!
Neat to hear the snow has given you extra time with Pixie. I notice the planes are flying again now.
Of course Pixies can't fly in the snow! Nice that you had extra visiting time with your pal. As for the snow, your gorgeous pic of it just underlines my belief that it always looks better in someone else's "back yard"--ie. anyone's other than mine. Got any cocoa laced with brandy on hand? I'm feeling a bit chilly and waaaay too sobered by looking at the snow.
See normally when you write about your winters, I usually feel a bit guilty as it's lovely and warm here. Not so much now though. We may as well have snow as it's so cold...IN JUNE !! Glad you had an extra day with your friend xx
