Tuesday Tipple

I have had a fair bit of time to come up with something different for todays tipple! So, are you sitting comfortably?
Then let's begin...


We're using an eau de vie (translated as 'water of life' - not a bad assumption for some tipples, I reckon!)


An eau de vie is a clear, colorless fruit brandy that is produced by means of fermentation and double distillation. The fruit flavor is typically very light.


LOOPING


1 ounce raspberry eau de vie
2 tsp coconut flavoured liqueur
carbonated grapefruit drink (If you're in NZ I'd use Franks ruby red grapefruit for this)
Garnish - lemon wedge


Mix the raspberry eau de vie and coconut flavoured liqueur together, with ice cubes, in a high ball glass. Top up with the grapefruit drink and stir briefly.


Perch the lemon wedge on the edge of the glass!
