Look what I did!

Thanks Gina!!

OK, have come out of my wee "funk" and decided to treat you to some New Zealand music. This band have been about for awhile and this is one of my favourite tracks.

There has been a tendency over the years for our musicians to suffer from what we call "the Dunedin sound" - I'll show you what that is later, but for now suffice to say I'm feeling rather chuffed with myself (and my expert instructor). I warned you I would be dangerous once I cracked this!!

Oh Amanda you clever clever thing. I think I love you!! haha not really - but that was wonderful. She is just so gorgeous. You've made my day. Well, you've kind of wrecked it really because I will now spend it endlessly watching that video and thinking things that I should not be thinking and which stop me from getting any work done. But what the heck.

Great song too! And well done on getting it all sussed - I knew you would!

oh good grief, now you'll have me watching clips and not working. I'll blame you, you know, when they drag me off to the funny farm. I'll say it was your influence, and I was a nice girl til I met you.......

Thanks, RB - couldn't have done it without you! (and my stubborn streak which refuses to allow me to give up). Glad you liked the videos.

Pixie - you were always easy to lead astray!!

Well congratulations on your new-found abilities.

Congrats on the music.
I always prefer Kiwi music to Aussie sounds, but dont tell the Oz that!

Well done, but do please go easy on the clips as some of us are in situations where we are not able to use speakers, so some postings might not make quite so much sense if devoted to clips alone.

Erm - am I the only one in the dark here? Is this a video you created on your computer? And where does the song come from? I like the 80-soundingness of it all! Is that you dancing in silhouette, Amanda??

Enlighten unenlightened me, please!

Actually the video reminds me rather of "Will Powers" - 80s songstress who did lots of computer-animated stuff!!

Mike - thanks! I can't belive how easy it really was. However, the bit I was missing was the fact that the actual clip won't show up until it is published. No-one mentioned that!!

Meggie - haha, your secret is safe with us on the web!

Steve - cheeky monkey! You may well get to regret that comment. I will fish out some baaaaad stuff for you from our 80s.

Poet - point taken. Mind you, given that I have to fight my kids for the PC by the time I get to it the moon is high in the sky and I'm starting to falter....

Cheeser - darling, I FINALLY posted a video. Wheeeee, am so excited. But no, that's not me in the video. A Kiwi called Margaret Urlich however. And the first clip is one of NZ's greatest bands, The Mutton Birds. I think I'll go and play some of their stuff now!

Well done! Shame it's not you doing all that gyrating. It's very 80s though isn't it? Never heard of the Mutton Birds, might have to look them up! Are they new or old?
