The finished hutch. Complete with straw. We get the bunny on Thursday. Yippee. I should say that again with enthusiasm but I have this feeling that it will be the 11 yr old's rabbit for about 3 weeks and then it will become mine. Anyone got any recipes??
Look, we have daffodils. Lots of them. I'm reading again. Got a book about Che Gueuvera written by his father, it is really interesting. I have read several books about this man. So far, it appears to me to be a complete SHAME the way he was killed.
Gawd, our election day has been announced. 8 November. Watch this space.

Lucky for your 11 yr old there are now Tomboy Tools - she can get her own pink hammer!
Oh boy, I went through the rabbit phase twice with two different kids. Good luck!
Wow, that hutch look amazing. Better in fact than all the new houses that the local council has thrown up on the outskirts of our town. Does it have room for a garage and a loft extension?
Viloet, I've even seen some flowery garden tools! I'm sure they work better than the ordinary ones...
Mike - How long to rabbits live?
Steve - we have a refugee family looking at the place this arvo, should be able to cram them in with the wabbit!!
Oh yes, those V & A ones I have been lusting after. Now if only I had a garden...
That's a fine hutch! You'll have to rename the breed 'Dutch Satin Happy' with a hutch like that.
Good luck indeed with the rabbit. Hutch looks very professional.
Just had to shut the door to ensure that the guinea pig didn't potter over and catch sight of your bunny's luxurious new abode.
I love my power tools. I have the sexiest cordless screwdriver in the world - it nestles so nicely in my hand and it is such a powerful thing. Um, you can tell I have PMT can't you!!
Violet - yes and they're expensive too!
Brother T - indeed! I have to say it was a real treat to watch the wee one and her dad building it!
Meggie - thanks, the wewe one is rather proud of herself. (And dad too of course)
RB - one should NEVER underestimate PMT. Frankly, I think it should be compulsory...I don't like to ask what you use the screwdriver for....
Aw - I hope you are enjoying Daisy II. What a great idea to make the daughter help build the hutch. Hopefully she will get the idea that the whole responsibility thing for the pet she wants is also hers at her age!
But hey, a pet will blow any interactive toy out the water and no mistake!
Laura - that was the idea, to ram home the responsibility bit. However...next blog will reveal another surprise!
