I love your red phone... is that a hot line to whoever we need to call to get them to shut off the oil flow in the Gulf of Mexico ???

And in the second one, omg, what is it ???

Early bird award to you, Owen! Wouldn't it be great to have a 'bat' phone...I'm not sure who I'd call first!

As for the second photo, we were at a Chinese New Year festival and this er, lady was wandering about - she didn't chnage her expression the whole time!

Love the phonebox. If I didn't know better I'd say it was taken on a sunny afternoon in middle England... image stereotyping.

Is the red phonebox your very own version of the tardis that took you back to the crazy lady's time? If so, can you bring it over here and we can go find David Tennant together......

"I see red, I see red, I see red."

I absolutely love that scowling woman picture! Not your typical scene...anywhere.

Steve - as wonderful as that sounds, no that phone was here at our Arts Centre.

Selina - Oh, now you're talking! Brilliant idea, am sure we could show DT a fun time one way or another!

Louciao-if you knew Christchurch you would know that is why I took that photo (from a safe distance) - we really don't have that many 'different' people here and its rather an English city.

Had a phone in mind tonight,
to make bright
a life, a place, a year,
using only good a word, I swear.

daily athens

Please have a wonderful start into the new week.

I love the red of that phonebox.
We see that colour here at the entrance to temples or sacred grounds, although it's so vibrant it's also very peaceful.

Misbehaving - I love red, I got married in red but not in a phone box!

Adrian - Great to see you here, and feel free to call collect!

Villager - It's special eh? many years ago the Telephone boffins went round painting all our phone boxes blue...
