I love trees - both their simplicity and complexity of form.

Up towards the light
Beyond every hight and life's might
Turning out just right
Making your new week only bright.

I was looking for Ernie in there somewhere, I mean, I figured there must be a reason for this tree shot, other than bark and leaves... or is that what the dog did that made Ernie run up there, but now Ernie's hiding ???

ok, ok, I'll be silent now...

Steve - these trees are right over our back fence, very pretty but the seeds 'snow' at certain times of the year!

Robert - oh, thats lovely! Sadly, our new week is full of rain, wind and cold!

Owen - nah,. too wet and cold for Ernie to venture too far today. I just liked the way the setting sun settled on the trees...

Very pretty. Our trees here have suddenly burst into leafy magnificence. I guess yours are winding down. Reminds me of that poem that starts out,

"I think that I shall never see
a poem lovely as a tree"

Had to memorize it in grade school but that's the only line I can recall now in my dotage.

Sundays are supposed to be peaceful; trees depict their peacefulness in many ways.

Louciao- I can never recall the rest of that poem either! perhaps we should just make up the rest between us?

CJ - hello and welcome! Yes I enjoy a peaceful Sunday, and sometimes wash it down with a nice chilled glass of Rose!
