Thanks to Rol over at Sunset Over Slawit for this one, do follow the link to his blog - fabulous writer and full of stuff that I'm sure no-one else could come up with.

I'm afraid of doing this... not sure that I want to know whether some goofbal program which is probably 90% random thinks I write like David Foster Wallace, which apparently it tells alot of people...

So, Defoe, now you're going to have to start producing ! Because he wrote whole books...

Hope all is peaceful in NZ...

Like Owen I'm also afraid. I just know it's going to say "Enid Blyton".

Well I had a go and ... the results are up on my blog!!

What a nifty little device - thanks for posting Amanda - love it! Of course I may not have loved it so much if I hadn't been given such a cool author...

I would like to know exactly how the device analyses one's writing though and how it arrives at such conclusions!

And Steve - unless Enid Blyton started using the words "shit" and "crap" and "bapticious" in some of her lesser known novels, I think you're probably safe...

My split personality is coming to the fore. Apparently, on my Décolleté blog I write like Dan Brown (how insulting!) while over at Ragzedge, I'm more like James Joyce (how incomprehensible!). And here I was aiming for Virginia Woolf and/or Joan Collins.

I wonder if the analysis of your text was more to do with your writing style or your Moll Flanders-like personality that shines through your words?

Now I have find out who that guy is: as this program says I write like "Johathan Swift".
Thanking you in advance for this exercise. Please have a great start into the weekend.

Owen- whole books I can read, not sure I could write one! All good here, sort of.

Steve-I sincerely doubt that, frankly it would be great to see who the oracle thinks you write like. Maybe it would say Steve Blake?!!

OC-I know, I suspect it's random? LOL at your comment to Steve. xx

Louciao-well, you have a good mix there at least! I only submitted one piece of work, not sure what sort of shock I'll get when I send in more.

Robert- Swift eh? Well, there are worse writers than that. Have a good weekend.

Actually, I'm afraid it might tell me I write like Hunter Thompson...
