Paragliding

Yesterday, I was FORCED to take an afternoon off to take some visitors from Norway arounf our city. What to do!
I decided to take them for a trip through the city and around the 'burbs, culminating in a trip to the beach. On the way, went left whe I would normally have gone right. And we found these paraglisers! What a treat! Hinestly, as admirable as this was I kept wondering how come these guys weren't at work! Maybe this is their job, Mr Handsome Norwegian suggested. "Or they are very rich" chimed Mr Swede, who works in Norway.

So, I have given you two photos to choose from. I like them both really, can't decide if one is better than t'other. Either way, I'd like Glen. Very close.

Paragliding looks amazing. Sadly I'm such a coward I can't even paradiddle on the drums.

I see your dilemma about which version of the photo to choose. Am glad you posted both. The coloured one really shows off the gorgeous scenery and the b&w&p one is magical. I love them both! And as for the Eagles vid--yeah baby!

Perfect song to go with your photos. That singular soul floating in that immense sky makes me feel like I just stumbled somehow into someone else's dream.

Now about that drinking!

What's a paragliser?

Hinestly the Eagles are naff and you'd like Glen to what? Shave off his beard and drum like Ringo?

Steve-ditto! There were 4 of them and it does look amazing, but I still doubt if I would willingly hurl myself of perfectly good ground!

Louciao-Thanks, dude.

Stickup- Oh you're welcome, it was actually bitterly cold but that doesn't translate into the coloured photo!

Barry-you ol' grouch, there's nowt wrong with a bit of nostalgia to go with one's crap spelling! (On reflection I think I prefer Don Henley...)

I think I'd go for the top one because I can imagine the colours.

But then if I look at it on another day I might think differently.
