I guess it's getting tough for working people all over this world. I hope and pray things get better in the future and people's lives get easier and more secure.

An impressive measurement of time and life. Please have you all a good start into the new week.

With regard to work and its new laws, one can await further strikes to appear soon over here.

I think your "Silent Sunday"s are very effective. I always look for them and get rather nonplussed by them.

Wot? Does Mum need a note now for a day off sick from work? OK, don't answer, be all silent on Sunday; see if I care (you know I do!).

Steve - yeah, man!

Stick Up- It is tough all over for sure.

Robert- lovely to see you! I'll be following the news over your way with interest.

Barry- thank you (I think?)

Louciao- There are several issues involved with the sick note, the most pressing one really is that in most areas of our small but pert country you can't actually get a Dr appointment on the day you need one! Then, if you do get an appointment it will probably cost you more than your days pay! Sorry, on my soap box again...I get like that near Tuesdays...
