It is the main topic of discussion when I talk to my mum on the phone :(

Steve - we're not called the Shakey Isles for nothing!

Vicky - I bet it is, it's the main topic of discussion even when we try not to do so! Such is life.

Crapola. Looks like your whole city is fenced off. That must be so weird making.

I've heard the expression "you're standing on shaky ground" but I've never known any one to live it out so literally. Maybe you could learn some moves from the Tempts to get you through the next shake-up

Keith-it is rather weird, and sad...there is a very large area still cordoned off from the public which covers heaps of streets and shopping areas, we can't get into our own City Square anymore. Hope we can have our city back one day!

Louciao-oh my, I reckon I would bust something if I tried those moves...I think I'll just sit and shake intermittently! (Also, I'm lazy)

Elvis knew a thing or two about shaking also... did he ever go to New Zealand ?

kj - you've hit the nail on the head there, my dear! It is hard to relax, even when I think I'm not thinking about the next shake I suddenly find that my hands or jaw are clenched...we're all doing it here!

Owen- I think he's still here somewhere...probably owns a gumboot shop in Taihape. :-)
