Tuesday Tipple

Well, it's been a week or two since we last had a drink together. Sadly you will all have to supply your own glasses this week, we lost the rest of them in last weeks thumpers!

I'm having mine straight from the bucket (sans straw) so stand back....

FRENCH CONNECTION
Shot of Cognac
½ Shot of Amaretto
Pour ingredients into a glass over ice, stir, and serve.

Mmmm, "French Connection"... I like the sound of that... is there any chance any of your French friends can get a slurp out of that bucket before you unceremoniously guzzle it all down ??? Cognac and Amaretto, never would have dreamed of mixing the two, but if you say so !
:-)

I love Amaretto and it doesn't sound like a little Cognac would hurt it one bit. Truly, anything cold with alcohol is just the ticket for this desert heat. I'll drink mine from a bucket in solidarity. Hang in there, it's just got to stop soon!

I like how your good Mr. Parker describes them as "a few wobbles."

I've brought my own bucket along and have donned a rubberized poncho to join in the tippling, just in case of further wobbles and consequent spills. Do you like my snakeskin coloured gumboots? I thought they'd be useful for negotiating my way through the liquefaction. I am learning so much from you!

Is it OK to stir with a spade?

Oh me oh my, just look at us all lining up in front of our buckets ! Do you think we should invite Amy Winehouse ? She could sing for us, we could slur along in harmony in between slurps...

Owen - it was a good movie anyway eh?
I have a bucket here with your name on it, so slurp away...I'm not sure we would face much competition from Ms Winehouse these days!

StickUp-I wish it would stop soon, but see what we got last night...http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/5174684/5-3-quake-shakes-Christchurch

Louciao- A few wobbles indeed...a kid I know says it's the earth farting. I love your boots, altho' you might want to secure them to your feet with something because that liquefaction is quite 'sucky' if you step in a large blob of it! I think we should go find that Scottish pub...

Steve - I believe it is compulsory!
