This past weekend, one of our (four??) TV channels had an 80s weekend. It has been eyars since I heard this song, and I am sure I had the Cd at some point but can't locate it now. probably lost it in my haste to leave my last relationship for the one I have been in for the past 14 years!
However, can you recall where you were when you heard this song? The singer probably wouldn't pass muster these days...too um "agricultural" perhaps for today's tastes. Shame cos she had a good voice.

Hi Sagittarian - I think there must be something wrong with my computer as I cannot see any of your musical embeddings. The dog is cute though!
Hope you enjoyed 80's night (my fave music era too!)
And the really funny thing is, I just heard this song somewhere recently and I can't for the life of me remember where.
Hi Poet, hope you get your computer sussed out soon!
Mike - me too, and then again it was on the movie Dodgeball too. Maybe you saw that?
I have no memory of where I was at all as I've never actually heard this before!
Thanks for posting this - it's a good song, and new to me too.
The '80s were an odd musical drought for me. Firstly the house had thin walls and the neighbours sensitive hearing, secondly the music was rubbish. (It wasn't, actually, as I've now realised; the problem was mine). Where were you, Sagittarian?
Mike, Brother T - wow, you almost escaped! Where was I? In Wellington, the capital of our wee "Shaky Isles" and, looking back, I was also in a hideously self destructive relationship. However, since you asked...it was a chat-up-line used by the ex. I KNOW!! Tacky!! And probably rivals Laura's story about the jacketed lad...sad but true. Sleezy bar, trying to make my mind up about this fella and he comes out with a line like that. Well, what hot-blooded 80s chick wouldn't have been swept off her feet? (I will now go and vomit.) xx
