Hoorah. A conference.

Be still my beating heart.

I'm going to Auckland. I'm going to Auckland.

Owing to the absence of sunshine and the predominance of rain, there is no paint to watch dry here, no socks to sort, no dental x-rays to catalogue.

So.

I'm going to a health and safety conference. In Auckland. First up there are welcome cocktails. Then a gala dinner. How will I cope? What does one wear? Sadly, Ray-baby is busy so I will be "flying solo". Such is life.

I'll be back at the weekend if you can stand the suspense!

You will cope. they have all kinds of bubbly stuff served in glasses in Auckland. you will not dress like the winehouse tart, you will be at least a tad more classy, you don't even smoke. Have fun. I can't come. I'm busy sorting out my brilliant career.

'Wherever you stay in Auckland, you're never far from breathtaking scenery, beautiful beaches, invigorating walks, idyllic holiday islands, outstanding food and wine, great shopping and exciting nightlife.'
Bit like Maidstone, really. Good luck!

Cool...a road trip!

I could use one of those myself.

Ooh - can I come? I'm charge of H&S here in Leamo but the most I get is the occasional in-house cup of coffee. I'd love a gala dinner. Has it been properly risk assessed?

Ooh, hope you are having a great time.

After you get back and tell us all about it, stop by. You've been tagged.

I hope you enjoyed Auckland. My brother tells me that yesterday was the first fine day for yonks.
Still, I guess inside hotels, it doesn't need to be fine!
