You can thank Steve for this one

Steve has tagged me for confessing the most embarrassing record I ever bought. I have to say I had more to choose from than I thought I would. Oh dear.

However. I challenge Pixie, Violet Sky , Mike and Meggie to do the same.

Rather than even type it, I have added it for your listening pleasure. And oh gawd, I suppose I have to admit I still singalong to it. there is no hope for me. Caviat Emptor.

The SS is singing along too! (Is it me, or has Donny turned out to be an unexpectedly grounded, un-pompous bloke?)

BT- Oh dear. I knew your SS was a great person but am overwhelmed...I guess that the real question about being emabrrasssed is...am I embarrassed now, or then? I think your SS and I should go shopping, and winebarhopping and discuss further. Awaiting co-ordinates.

That is like an ABBA song - we all know all the words and can't help but sing along.

So I have to top this? I think I was even embarrasssed then to have bought all his albums, but I did it anyway. Will have a think about what else was foolishly bought.

Given my recent post (no.6) I can hardly take you to task for owning a record by Donny Osmond. Besides which I own the single version of "Crazy Horses"...(waaaa! waaa!)

Oh boy, this could send my feeble old mind into an absolute tailspin.

Violet - well, give it a go, see what you come up with. I actually had to narrow it down to a coin toss in the end! (Daddy don't you walk so fast got 2nd)

Justme - Cool!

Steve - got that album too...I think I even had a purple "Donny-hat" at some point. Given your latest thinking on hats maybe I should see if I still have it?

Mike - feeble? Never. mMind you, I understand that you lot are a bit preoccupied at the moment...

Really, not too terrible!
We all have songs like that, that we sing along with.

My most embarrassing is just about too dismal to link.
What the hell was I thinking???

haha oh I enjoyed listening to that! My mother's next door neighbour has been a fan of Donny since she was a child and she has a whole room given over to him! (I don't mean he comes to stay - I mean it is full of posters and stuff)

But he does seem a nice bloke now.

And Crazy Horses was a great track.

This one was pretty horrid but in a gently sing-along way!!

Meggie - it was a tough assignment for sure!

RB - yeah, I have seen the odd interview with him over the years and he does seem to have come thru it all unscathed. perhaps he didn't listen to his own music? (ouch)
