Tuesday Tipple

I am going to keep it simple this week.

CHAMPAGNE - in honour of our All Blacks finally doing something grand at the weekend (beating the Aussies) you will need as many of the following as you can carry:-

plus this , and this is what you do next....party on down! The following clip is the only version I could find of this song, my fave version is actually by NRBQ but these guys do a fair enough job!

OMG, am I possibly the first to slip in here and have a good hearty tipple of champers with you ? Is there any left in all of New Zealand ? After beating Australia, I would guess there was some serious partying going on ! Hope you all were safe at home, and not out on the streets where more than one driver must have been inebriated... ?!?

It was about time they did something creditable. Not that I care, but the Gom sits glumly when they lose.

My god those oysters looked delish!! I really miss good Bluff Oysters.

I just found a couple of bottles of champagne hidden away in our basement (I say basement, it's just a grubby hole under our house that I can't go in unless Ewan has been in first to check for horrors) so thank you for giving me permission to open them !!

Ah, that was refreshing! Bubbles up my nose, champers down my throat, a good blues guitar tune, and a romp on the dance floor--all before 10:30 a.m.! What a week of partying, here and at Owen's, and it's only Tuesday!! (exclamation points are on sale today, so I stocked up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Owen - You will of course be thrilled to know I am one of those boring types who refuses to have a drop of alcohol if I'm driving, zero tolerance for me all the way on that one. I have sobered up somewhat now, it is Wednesday afterall and my other husband's birthday so looks like another party on the way...

Meggie - I know, it has been a slow process and I frankly wonder if Graham Henry knows what he's doing!

Selina - good girl!

Louciao - let me know if you need a new liver! I see you've been over at Owen's, I assume you have returned his boots?

Steve - aw thanks! (Its not true but it's a lovely thought!!)
