If only such tranquility would last!

Now that's just taunting after a Sunday of slavish housework and life admin catch up!

I wanted to leave a moment of silence here as my comment but apparently it is not allowed by the blog god.

No silent Sunday for me--off to the stadium with thousands of rabid football fans.

Villager - thanks!

Steve - that photo was taken at Lake Brunner, on the Wild West Coast of the South Island. Oddly, it is almost always just like that (altho' in summer it is sunny)

Poet - I know, hardly seems fair does it.

Louciao - Hope you enjoyed and endured the sweaty hordes!

Now is that nice ? Is that kind ? Trying to inject silence and peace and bliss and reflection and solituded and quiet time for pondering and poetry into our hassled and hectic existences where a hundred things want doing at all times and we are harangued by telephones and computers and televisions and toasters, and the cats have fleas and the portable computer caught a virus and the teenager's hair is uncontrollable and the car has an annoying warning light on the dash that won't go out and the vacuuming and ironing and leaf raking and so forth all are calling ...... but I think I'll just sit quietly here for a few moments and stare at your photo... if that's ok with you sis...

Well, Saj, as you know I found 12. A poor showing, I know, but so much fun, I don't care! Your writing is delicious, and I'll be placing bets on Part II!
Thanks! xxox

Owen - just trying to help, bro, just trying to help!

Margaret - I was a bit sneaky using really old songs...Part 2 may well be sneakier...

I am a very helpful twin, possibly a bit evil...anyway my WV is hythro which may be a cross between a hillbilly and a hyphen.
