One way to know you're still on holiday is when you find yourself doing the ironing instead of reading a book, right? Possibly I have that round the wrong way. However, I am worried about my reaction to the ironing.
Never mind that I actually ironed work shirts which I know are not mine (surely the days of wives doing all the ironing are well and truly over??), when I had finished each shirt I hung it on it's hanger...and to my dismay when I had finished and was about to cart them all upstairs I had put one of the shirts the wrong way round on its hanger. Instead of being able to neatly hang them all in the wardrobe in one go because the hanging bits all faced the same way, I had to struggle along with 3 facing one way and the last one falling to the floor and having to be put on the hanger the RIGHT way and then being put away. When did I start to be concerned about this, does Martha Stewart know about this?? When did I start putting words like "hanging bits" on this blog? Do I need a champers, darling or what!
I think I should go back to doing what I do best, you know - the kind of things that The Stud married me for afterall...lounging about and doing stuff all...I don't think I'm cut out for housework.

Hey, when it comes to ironing, I'm just happy not to get a big burn the shape of an iron on the back of the shirt!
My mother used to iron our socks.
Imagine.
Such a pointless activity. I learned from that and in my house no ironing ever gets done. A good shake out works a treat.
It's very brave of you to up load a pic of yourself in the buff - having finished ironing the family's smalls?
I find ironing au natural adds that certain frisson to an otherwise boring household chore.
Wow! Is that you ?? You can let the ironing pile up for months when you have bosoms like that !!!
Louise doesn't understand why I have to iron pillow cases. It's a pain, but it's worth it.
But Saj !
Lynne's teeth are going to fall out again if you keep posting pictures like this. And the "Adult Content Warning", my goodness, don't you think you should turn on the adult content warning if you are going to be running around doing the housework in the buff here ??? Almost like to have a heart attack ! Tsk tsk tsk... ahem !
Hope you'll be serving something to drink here soon !
As for the shirts facing one way or the other, I think you better bring that one up with your shrink, there are some issues we are just not going to be able to help you with...
:-)
Actually, I wouldn't worry about it. Everyone has their little psychopathic idiosyncracies...
:-)
Come on, darling, I'm almost positive that this isn't the first time you've used the phrase "hanging bits" on your blog.
By the way, what's "ironing"?
Refill, sweetie?
Once I earned me money while ironing clothes at a factory.
Nowadays it is mostly done by a mother whos child receives lessons and she doesn't have to pay.
Please have a wonderful Tuesday.
StickUp-good luck with that! I think I've only ever done that once...
