it rises beautifully and magically on another.....

The end of one day brings the start of another.

Look at what our friend, The Sagittarian, has found --

A little piece of strangely pinkish sky inside the ground!

Steve - With regular monotony!

Joey- Great to see you, thanks for the thoughts, I think it means we can now wear shorts?

Hey Saggy, hope you're holding it together down the Shaky Isles... Another 4.9 today huh? Good news about the re-build. U still staying down in the same area?
We had a little quake up here in Aucks and the ChCh peeps laughed at us making a big deal of it, lol.

Hi Undie, good to see you're still out and about. We're still in the same area, our land has been green zoned so while can't actually live in the house we can at least retain the address! We are moving into a motel until the place is made safe enough for us to go back and live in it.
We heard about your 2.9 quake, I can understand peoples reactions - what we sure know for certain is that until it has stopped you don't know how big it is. And that's scary!

Love the pinky sky shot! Is it for real?

kj- That's a very nice thought! :-)

Simon - yep, it is really real, no photoshopping nothing! We do nice sunrises down here...

Just been browsing your blog. Fantastic photos; the daisy in the liquefaction is superb. Your Earthquake experience certainly puts my own shake-down into perspective. Wasn't that teachers' union meeting a blessing in disguise on Feb 22. Or maybe not in your girls' case looking at the state of your house. Anyway, kia kaha in these difficult times.

I'm glad to see that you're finding things to feel in the pink about! I wonder if you were just getting up or just going to bed, in order to capture the colours of the sunrise.

Lady- lovely to have you visit! :-) Your blog is beautiful.

Sis, cheeky...I'm not able to tell you as it's not in the nations interests! (Bit of local politics there for you...our PM usually refuses to answer tricky questions on that basis...)

You okay there Sag, after this morning's thumper? I've been acting earthquake warden in the local town hall during a school holiday production - gorgeous musical to be watching over and over again - but with that hair-trigger awareness beneath the skin. Is the town hall still standing I'm wondering!
