Good deal... for justice... not for the young lady. There are times when the notion of "an eye for an eye" seems warranted...
Just noticed over at Louciao's place where you confessed to having seen Bad Boy Bubby... left a little comment over there, but would be curious to hear what you thought of that film... should Bubby have been convicted of murder also ? Interesting that he seems to get away with it...
Steve - yes, I swear the whole country heaved a sigh of relief!
Owen - the guy is now in a segregated part of the prison owing to threats from the other inmates apparently! Yeah as for Bubby, he had his reasons - it was kind of a dark film for me, I must watch it again (I think).
Louciao - thats one of my favourite songs, I want it at my funeral (along with Monty Python's "Bright side of Life")!
Villager - I know, I have banished my daughters from EVER having boys in their rooms!
Matty - lovely to see you here again; yes justice isn't quite the same as karma but I think there's room for both!
Margaret - ah dear ol' Clint! We seem to have more than our share of violent crimes lately, maybe we can have Clint for our Mayor??
P.S. Saj~ God, I love the old Cat Stevens! This song is wonderful. And it can work for Song Saturday! I got the idea from you to post a Saturday video, too! Hope you get a chance to see it! Thanks! xxxox

Nice to know that justice is alive and kickin'...!

Good to know that justice has prevailed.
You chose a most fitting celebratory song. Cat was such a tuneful happy guy before he found the true religion.
Though we are often critical of our various legal systems, they do perform an essential role.
We must remain ever vigilant !
Sometimes justice comes through. I like what Owen wrote.
And now you can be free to walk your streets! Thank God!
In our westerns, Clint Eastwood said, "Hang 'em high!"

Thank goodness for that - I trust he got a life sentence.
Or death by dingos in a big arena.
So there IS justice in the world! Thank goodness for that

Hi Laura - I like that dingo idea but we don't have them in NZ. Maybe a severe munching by a grumpy wild pig would be in order?
Selina - I have to confess that a collective shout of joy was heard around the office!
Margaret - Yes, I had a thing for Cat when I was bit younger! A friend of mine had a husband who looked just like him and we were all dead jealous!
They should just let the other prisoners have him!
Good to see Justice sometimes works.
