Tuesday Tipple

This was a very nice drop which we consumed during the Wild Night Out.

The cocktail for this week is this:-

PERFECT LOVE (but I warn you, it does look like Meths on ice....)

30ml vodka
15ml Parfait Amour
15ml maraschino
ice

Pour ingredients, one after the other, into serving glass filled with ice. Serve with a twist of lemon in an 'old fashioned' glass.

If 7 is your lucky number, watch out for this

I guess better "your round" than "you're round". But what I really want to know is, did they use chewing gum to stick those signs to the car windows with ? So even in New Zealand they have massage parlors with "hot ladies" for lucky folks ? Another illusion tossed... May we dedicate this drink to tossed illusions ? Bottoms up !

So did you get a part time job in Dunedin? Is that why you've been laying low of late? Is that your car with the posters? Anything to do with your wild night out? I guess the ladies would be hot, being in a sauna and all. I don't think "bottoms up!" is quite the toast to use in a sauna. But that's Owen for you.

Had forgotten about that old chestnut,"Chanson d'amour." And the Manhattan Transfer for that matter. Thanks for the memory jog. It's about the only kind of jogging I'm up to any more.

ah Owen, not sure we should be using words like 'tossed' and 'bottoms up' in the same sentences! As for how those signs were stuck to the windows you probably don't really want to know...

Louciao - haha, I agree but then again where we would we be without Owen? Its a worry when he talks about 'tossed illusions' tho', well that depends on what those wrods mean in French huh?!
As for jogging, I get my exercise from changing my mind...

WV: "hande" as in, "Owen thought the girls in the Lucky 7 Sauna and Massage were pretty hande at their jobs."

I've never heard of Parfait Amour - I'm off to find some. I may be some time ...

Louciao - hande indeed...whats that saying about the devil finding work for idol hands? (Yes that mis-spelling was intentional)

Selina - it's kinda mauve, but has a nice taste. I've got some here if you can't find any...

A mobile sauna? Whatever next. Do they valet the car while they're "at it"? ;-)

Steve - You'd have to wonder what they used for a polishing cloth...

I feel very sinful. I have just listened to the Manhatten Transfer song because my wife has gone out. It is usually forbidden in this house. It regularly used to wake us on the clock-alarm-radio in our early days of marriage. My missus hates Manhatten Transfer. However, thanks for posting the video - I've never actually seen what they look like before.
