Portrait of a rainy day

Our wonderful, joyous Whovian, New Teen...in the rain taking photos of her own. I love this wee gal. I couldn't post the clip (embedding disabled by request) so I hope you enjoy the song all the same.

I love this beach, rain or shine. These guys hover about waiting for people to drop themmorsels, usually they score fish and chips! It's one of the best places in the world to take your fish and chips to eat, either strolling the beach or huddled in the dunes, depends on the weather.

That picture is so evocative. It could be Weston-super-Mare.

Steve, I had to google what that Weston etc was!The photo was taken at our New Brighton beach, which most people think is lovely except we get very cold eaterly winds mostly down there which can dent the charm somewhat!

er, we should make that 'easterly winds'...the eaterly ones come in winter....

Mmmm, precious moments. Wonderful to recognize them, cherish them, store them up in your heart, put them in the safety deposit box of your memory bank and hope you never lose the key.

The beach is always wonderful to me, no matter what kind of weather it is serving up! It's so nice that you can go and enjoy a rainy day equally to a sunny one. I think the rainy day images are moodier, and in a way softer, anyway. Enjoy your vacation!

New Teens with cameras, funny, I have one of those too... be nice if they could meet... imagine, French new teen meets kiwi new teen, photographs galore were taken...

But as for people who spend all their time at the beach, while some of us are working... grrrrr....
