I can see the irony; one placed closed, the other open to the elements...

Food holds body, mind and soul together. May time and life do the same for the buildings and their content.

Guess it's going to take a while for any sense of normalcy to return... between Haiti, Chile, and New Zealand, what a year it was... The earth is shifting...

Good thing we didn't all invest together too quickly in one of those dream properties we'd been talking about, it might have fallen down around us...

Can't wait til Tuesday, I'm thirsty already...

I'm intrigued by the running figure reflected in front of the "take away." Is that their delivery method?

Owen-I ahve to say the expression "going to hell in ahnad cart" is starting to make sense....am now off to the bar to see what I can do aboot your thirst. (see, I'm spekaing canadian in honour of our sister....)

Louciao-thats actually the Scowly Teen photo-bombing my picture, apparently its when someone sees you taking a photo and they jump into it at the last minute! I really like the effect, if you enlarge the photo you can almost see the gleeful look on her wee face!!

That is quite an image with many stories to tell. I love the running figure with the Indian Takeaway graphics reflected on the body. And looks like a major repair job going on across the street. I'm sure the Indian Takeaway is happy to be still standing with that daily reminder out their window of what might have been!
