Community Service Newsflash - DON'T GET RABBITS!

You may recall those fluffy wee bunny-things we got last year.

Have I mentioned that not only have they cost a fortune with their ventures into DIY surgery, Daisy also has now developed a wonky tooth. This tooth initially required knock-out surgery to correct but we have since found that he tolerates a good old fashioned grind (of the tooth variety that is) by the dental instrument weilded by the Vet...they only charge $25 for this every month....yeah. You'll know me when you see me, I have 'MUGGINS" across my furrowed forehead. I mean, you can buy a fair amount of wine for that kind of money if you know where to shop!
Gah, for the record it wasn't me who wanted these creatures.

However, the youngest sproglette was keen and was going to look after them yadda yadda. To her credit she did look after them for about a month, and now will look after them if I am away from home but to be honest, I probably brought this on myself .

I should have been meaner "No, you can't have a rabbit" should have rolled off my tongue as easily as "No, you can't have an ice cream before tea" or "No, don't play on the road" rolls off my very same traitorous organ.

Now, these guys aren't even in the same hutch. We had to build a new one to house Gretel after his brother savaged off his dangly bits (which weren't even dangly!)

So, beware those of you with tiny terrorists amongst you, those small creatures who know how to tug at your heart strings are not always up to any good!
too so best be nice to them, just in case eh?

I used to hate the Tamagotchi craze. Suddenly I can see the attraction.

Maybe the bunnies will just mysteriously gnaw a hole in their cages and suddenly disappear. You can swear to your children that it's only coincidental that you're serving rabbit stew for supper.

That is a seriously cute bunny!!
Seriously though, I have cats because they look after themselves and a dog because I am stupid. Oh and a pet rat just because, (never again). I do like bunnies but they are such a lot of work!
*Not letting Miss P see this* ;o)

Steve - I am also now wondering why I tried to dodge that craze!!

Louciao - my WV 'nologgr'..I am no loggr keen on wabbits!

Penelope - Whats your address again?? The UK aren't too bothered about quarantines are they??

Antipo - ah but do you watch her every minute, she's probably off out with your credit card when you're not looking. They're like that!

Saj, you have to be the funniest person I've ever met!! i could hear its little squeak... so, I guess you're taking that as a warning with yours? And there is synchronicity--or coincidence--whichever you prefer: Friko has a rabbit story of her own at http://frikosmusings.blogspot.com (she's in England.). btw, were they speaking with your accent or were those Irish accents?
Oh, just checked--Patti's still in the box!

Margaret - aw thanks, I did go and check Friko's story and guess what - she had a rabbit named Gretel as well!

AWB - I'm sure there was a comment from you earlier, no idea where it's gone but hm..not keen on rabbit stew but the neighbours dog might be!

Hi Sagittarian

love your bunny story. mine are, of course, ex-bunnies and now I have a dog. much safer.
they've been showing repeats of the the Pythons here, there's some anniversary of their stuff or other.

I like the pink collar and lead, Sag !

Friko - we're great Python fans in our house, just crazy mad-cap stuff but very clever as well. We've stuck with cats.

Villager - yes, the pink is a leftover from when the pet shop told us we had bought 2 girl rabbits!

Did you say gnawed off 'Gretel's' dangly bits?? Poor Gretel, who knew she was a boy all along...
I always wanted a rabbit, but we have no grass in our back yard.
So dogs it is, along with the attendant logs...

Oh but they are sooooo cute.

My kitten is proving a pain. She is just so naughty. She can now open doors, has worked out how to get into the bin (but not how to get out) and speaks constantly.

If she got ill and there was a choice between treating her and buying wine - there would be no debate at all. I'd put her in the cats' home box at the supermarket (you know, the one where you are meant to deposit spare catfood tins for the home to use).

Those wabbits are certainly tugging at my heartstrings. So frickin' cute!! I just want to reach into the picture, pick them up and stroke their lovely fur!!

Oh lawdy lawdy lawdy, trust Mad Lynne to propose serving them up as stew !!! Now would that be with or without the dangly bits ??? Now after having seen the Python video, and read of your bunnies' aggressive characters, perhaps the police should be checking local rabbit hutches for traces of the missing two year old ?

Am so late getting here, but work was just impossible this past week... the mad rabbits were at my throat !

WV is "entleg", whatever that means... perhaps as in when eating chicken for dinner, "that entleg, it's a wing"...

Yes, but a rabbit with Hollywood teeth, how cool is that?

Alcohol ages the skin anyway.
