The above sign was attached to the Mandoline Slicer we bought as part of the Studs birthday presents...its a vegetable slicer thingy whatsit and I have no doubt that Nigella and anyone who is anyone has one. Well, d'oh...the sign says it all. What have we come to that necessitates signs like that on anything? Are we so dumbed down? Have our schools abdicated so much responsibility over the years? What do you think...seems like everything is impossible on the basis that it is someone elses responsibility or their fault...what about the self?
Oh, and I bought myself a new necklace. You know, it was raining (I may have mnetioned that and SOME of you may have rejoiced) and a gal has to do something to cheer herself up otherwise the family suffers...if the mama ain't happy, nobody happy! thats my motto.
Anyhoo, am off to Wellington in the morning...see ya when I get back!

haha oh brilliant!

I was sure I commented yesterday about the rain? I must be going mad.

I like the necklace. I always wear the same one - I'm sure my children probably think it is actually part of me. I don't mean I always wear the same one that you do - I mean the same one that I always do.

I'm not very inspired today, am I? Perhaps that's what happened yesterday? Maybe I wrote something, thought it was crap and deleted it and went away!!? I guess that's better than being mad!

I wish I had a "keep out of children" sticker that I could apply to my chocolate stash...

Fab necklace. And I like your motto. I may adopt it for personal use.

Lovely necklace. Are you flying into Wellington? doesn't that airport scare the bejesus out of you!
I always feel as if we are either going to land in the sea or among the hills. Hope it is not wet & windy.. I've heard rumours that there are times when it is actually sunny & pleasant. Never happened when I have been there, mind you!

Great necklace.

I think that everyone is so afraid of law-suits that they have to cover all of their bases. I love the warnings on plastic bags that tell you not to put them over your head. Priceless.

Enjoy your trip.

"Keep out of children"?!

One would hope someone wouldn't want to insert a slicer INTO a child!

Unless they'd been exceptionally naughty...

Yay the rain! my lawn is actually starting to look like a lawn and not a bare desert. Like the new blog look too. My fav necklace got taken by the pigs that robbed us, that's what you get for taking it off!
