My first week back at work after the holiday break...I need a Stinger!
45ml brandy
15ml white creme de menthe
ice
Pour all ingredients into mixing glass filled with ice, stir then strain into a serving glass. I'd use a cocktail glass, no garnish.
And now, for some good fun Kiwi music from the Coalrangers!

Jeez, that was some good ol' toe-tappin' fun there, Saj! Wasn't that you dancin' in the red dress? I'll have one of those Stingers, please. I need to get my hair on straight after enjoying a cozy weekend with the very smooth Gentleman Jack from Tennessee, flown in specially by my daughter's boyfriend from Nashville. A litte pre-birthday celebration for this ole gal.
Cheers, mate!
oooh, a birthday coming on? hoorah, I'll get my round shoes on.
No that wasn't me in the red dress, but I have seen these guys play live more than once. Their piano player does a lot of Blue Rodeo stuff, he's really good.
I'm trying to get my round shoes off! They are great for dancing, though.
Wow - geat pick-me-ups all round!
Memories of a weekend spent on the West Coast still bring tears to the eyes! You needed stamina, to last the distance.
First day back at work. Oh no, poor you! Hope it was not too dire?
Today is the last day of my 31 days of no alcohol. I made it.
Whoo-hoo! Brandy and creme de menthe - I can feel the fire!!!
Louciao - a girl's gotta have good dancing shoes!
Steve - I needed it, believe me!
Meggie - I agree, I do miss living on the Coast but luckily I get to visit via work quite often.
rb - am coping, just! Our office manager is having a baby in May but also has a twisted ovary so is in and out of hospital. I find it breaks up the day quite nicely running her up there!!
Selina - you simply must hop aboard the next bus to NZ and, along with rb, come for drinks!
